We successfully organized the traditional Oratory Day event through the Faculty of Law at International Balkan University, bringing together students, academic staff, and guests for a meaningful program dedicated to public speaking, argumentation, and legal expression. Held on 07.07.2026, the event once again reflected our commitment to developing confident, articulate, and socially engaged future legal professionals. Through this long-standing academic tradition, we continue to create opportunities for students to strengthen their communication abilities, critical thinking skills, and public presence in an intellectually stimulating environment.

Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Bejtulla Demiri and Asst. Omer Cem Ulutas, law students delivered impressive speeches on a variety of social, legal, and political topics, demonstrating strong rhetorical and analytical abilities throughout the program. The participants of this year’s Oratory Day were Emir Sami Turan, Muhammed Ali Agcan, Pinar Ozerson, Sevval Arpaci, and Dina Hasikj, all of whom showcased remarkable confidence, persuasive communication, and thoughtful argumentation during their presentations. The event encouraged students to engage with contemporary issues through structured debate and public discourse, further contributing to their academic and professional development within the field of law.

Following a democratic evaluation process, Emir Sami Turan was selected as the winner of this year’s competition for his outstanding presentation and persuasive speaking skills. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to all participants, reaffirming the Faculty of Law’s dedication to fostering future professionals equipped with strong communication, leadership, and advocacy abilities. Through initiatives such as Oratory Day, we continue to promote student excellence, practical learning, and academic engagement while strengthening the culture of dialogue, critical thinking, and professional growth within our university community.
