We continued to strengthen practice-oriented legal education through a field visit organized by the Faculty of Law at International Balkan University to the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on 7 May 2026, as part of the Constitutional Law course curriculum. The visit provided our students with a valuable opportunity to observe the functioning of governmental institutions firsthand and to deepen their understanding of the executive branch, constitutional governance, and public decision-making processes. Through such academic initiatives, we continue to bridge theoretical learning with institutional experience, offering students meaningful exposure to the practical dimensions of law and public administration.
During the visit, students were warmly received by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Bekim Sali, together with his special advisor, Mr. Afan Elezi, who shared important insights regarding the practical workings of government institutions, public policy development, and administrative processes. Conducted under the academic mentorship of Prof. Dr. Bejtulla Demiri and Assistant Albulena Ibrahimi, the visit created an interactive environment in which students actively engaged in discussions on key social, legal, and political matters. These exchanges contributed significantly to enriching students’ academic perspectives while encouraging critical thinking, civic awareness, and a deeper understanding of institutional responsibilities within the constitutional framework.
Through field visits and direct institutional engagement, we continue to reaffirm the Faculty of Law’s commitment to providing students with dynamic and practice-oriented learning experiences that support both academic excellence and professional development. Such initiatives reflect our broader mission of preparing future legal professionals who are equipped not only with strong theoretical foundations, but also with practical knowledge, analytical skills, and firsthand understanding of public institutions and governance. By fostering close connections between academia and public institutions, we remain dedicated to empowering our students with experiences that contribute to their future success and active participation in society.
