Public Call for the election of the Rector of the International Balkan University– Skopje for the term of office 16 September 2026 – 15 September 2029

The International Balkan University Skopje has started the procedure for the election of the Rector in free direct and secret elections by the members of the teaching-scientific, scientific and teaching councils of the units, for a period of three years, i.e. for the period from 16 September 2026 – 15 September 2029.

Conditions for choosing the Rector:

A. The candidate for Rector should meet the following conditions:

• To be a full-time professor

• have an excellent knowledge of the English language

• knowledge of the Turkish language and other local languages will be considered an advantage

B. The candidate for Rector must submit to the Application:

• Application;

• Biography with bibliography included;

• Decision on the election as a full-time professor;

• Strategic and development program of the University for the mandate period

C. Submission of the documents

• Candidates for rector are obliged to submit the necessary documents in original or certified copy, in printed form, no later than 25.05.2026.

• The documents should be submitted to the archive of the International Balkan University – Skopje, at the address ul. "Makedonsko-kosovska brigada" 9 no. 29, every working day from 08:00 to 16:00 o’clock, to the University Election Commission with the indication "Public Call for the election of Rector".

• An electronic version of the documents should be submitted to hr@ibu.edu.mk no later than 24:00 on the last day of the deadline.
