We proudly participated in the official opening ceremony of the London Office of Yıldız Teknopark, operating under Yıldız Technical University, which was held on May 9, 2026, in London, the capital of the United Kingdom. Representing International Balkan University at this significant international event, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, and our Vice Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe, attended the ceremony together with distinguished representatives from academia, technology, entrepreneurship, and industry. The opening of the London Office marked an important milestone in expanding international cooperation networks and strengthening connections between higher education institutions, technology ecosystems, and global innovation platforms. Through our participation in this important program, we once again demonstrated our commitment to actively contributing to international academic and technological collaborations that support innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

Within the scope of the cooperation agreement signed between International Balkan University and Yıldız Technical University, the Yıldız Teknopark Skopje Office continues its activities hosted by our university, serving as an important platform for academic interaction, innovation-driven initiatives, and regional cooperation. The ceremony in London further strengthened the existing collaboration between our institutions while creating new opportunities for dialogue and partnership in the fields of technology transfer, entrepreneurship ecosystems, research development, and international projects. During the program, participants exchanged valuable ideas regarding the future of innovation and the growing importance of global cooperation between universities, technology parks, investors, and entrepreneurs. Discussions also emphasized London’s strategic role within the international technology and investment ecosystem and the potential of the newly established office to serve as a bridge connecting entrepreneurs and innovators with global markets and networks.
