International Balkan University actively participated in the 3rd International Scientific Conference titled “Family and Society in Transition: Challenges, Values, and Dynamics in the Contemporary Era,” further strengthening our commitment to academic excellence, interdisciplinary dialogue, and meaningful engagement with contemporary social issues. Representing our university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Igbale Miftari Fetishi, Dean of the Faculty of Education, together with Asst. Prof. Fatime Ziberi, contributed to the conference through active academic involvement and professional collaboration. Through our participation in this important international gathering, we once again demonstrated our dedication to supporting scientific research and creating platforms that encourage critical discussion on the evolving challenges affecting families and societies in the modern era.

As part of the conference program, Asst. Prof. Fatime Ziberi contributed as a panelist with her presentation titled “Family in Transition: Impacts on Psychological Well-being and Family Resilience.” Her presentation offered valuable academic insights into the psychological aspects of changing family structures, emphasizing resilience, emotional well-being, and the importance of understanding contemporary social dynamics through research and scholarly analysis. The conference itself was organized by the Association for the Advancement of Women (AAG) in partnership with International Balkan University, reflecting the importance of institutional cooperation in promoting impactful academic initiatives that address relevant social and educational topics. In recognition of our meaningful contribution and continued commitment to community engagement and academic development, International Balkan University was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation during the event.

IBU was also prominently represented on the Conference Board by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Igbale Miftari Fetishi, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katerina, and Prof. Dr. Kire Sharlamanov, whose involvement further highlighted our university’s active role in advancing academic collaboration and intellectual exchange at both national and international levels.
