International Balkan University continues to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence and professional development through the establishment of meaningful institutional partnerships that create new opportunities for our students and academic community. On May 19, 2026, the Faculty of Law of International Balkan University officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Chamber of Bailiffs, marking an important step toward further connecting legal education with professional practice. The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikola Dacev, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Rilinda Maqellara and Asst. Entoni Miska, while the National Chamber of Bailiffs was represented by its President, Mrs. Vesna Delovska. Through this strategic collaboration, we continue to expand the practical and professional dimensions of legal education offered at IBU while reinforcing our vision of preparing highly qualified and competent future legal professionals.
The Memorandum of Cooperation establishes a strong framework for collaboration between the Faculty of Law and the National Chamber of Bailiffs, particularly in the areas of professional training, academic exchange, and experiential learning. One of the key components of this partnership is the development of a structured internship program that will enable our law students to gain direct exposure to enforcement procedures, judicial executions, and other important aspects of legal practice. By creating opportunities for students to engage with real-world legal processes under professional mentorship, we aim to further strengthen their practical understanding of procedural law and support the development of essential professional competencies. In addition to internship opportunities, the cooperation also envisions the organization of joint workshops, academic initiatives, and educational activities that will contribute to enriching the academic and practical experiences of our students.
As International Balkan University, we highly value partnerships that bridge academia and professional institutions, creating dynamic learning environments that support innovation, employability, and long-term professional success. This collaboration reflects our continuous dedication to aligning legal education with the evolving needs of the legal sector while promoting active engagement between students and practitioners. Through such initiatives, we continue to enhance the quality of education at IBU and provide our students with meaningful opportunities for professional growth and career preparation. We sincerely thank the National Chamber of Bailiffs and its President, Mrs. Vesna Delovska, for their cooperation and shared commitment to supporting the next generation of skilled, responsible, and capable legal professionals.
