About Department

Administrative courts, institutions, as well as local self-government regularly face issues involving legal and economic aspects of the community. However, they often lack the combination of administrative and legal knowledge to achieve optimal administrative solutions or serve citizens effectively. Therefore, the academic goal of the study program in administrative law at the Faculty of Law is to provide students with the ability and competence to solve complex legal situations, understand their administrative dimensions, and act effectively in the administrative and social sphere in today's a global world that is becoming more and more dynamic and complex.

Within the framework of this program, intensive work will be done to achieve a high level of legal principles, knowledge, and skills for our students, but they will also be provided with practical teaching for analyzing and solving problems arising from administrative-legal relations between the various legal entities through the application of legal knowledge in the field of substantive and procedural administrative law, with special reference to the administrative procedure, as well as familiarizing students with the basics of public service management, communication, and public relations in public administration, all with the aim of monitoring and adjusting the modern administrative flows, first of all at the global level, as a significant prerequisite for the successful operation of lawyers in administrative institutions.

The Master's Program in Administrative Law is an interdisciplinary and international program open to students from various academic and cultural backgrounds. This program provides students with a unique learning environment that fosters knowledge transfer and inspires an exchange of perspectives between disciplines with legal and economic dimensions, as well as cultures.
