The Master’s studies program in International Politics, within the Faculty of Law at the International Balkan University, is an interdisciplinary and international program, which is taught in English and open to students from various academic and cultural backgrounds. The academic program in International Politics aims to enable students to understand and analyze the complexity of politics on an international level.
Consequently, the study program is particularly aimed at increasing the level of students' knowledge about the interdependence and interaction between various political actors, such as national states, political parties, international governmental organizations, nongovernmental organizations, international corporations, and citizens.
The study program in International Politics offers a wide range of courses in this scientific field, that cover key topics such as globalization, diplomacy, history and theories of international relations, regional and international organizations, conflict resolution, foreign policies of global powers, contemporary political economy, and international human rights. Therefore, the program creates a unique learning environment that fosters knowledge transfer from related disciplines, such as international economic relations and international law.
Furthermore, the Master’s program offers students the necessary training in research methods and academic writing. Future graduates of the Master’s program in International Politics would have a range of career options in national and international research institutes, civil society organizations, state institutions, and international organizations.
