About Department

This program introduces students to the rich literary tradition of Turkish language and literature. Students explore various genres, periods, and literary movements while developing their critical analysis and research skills. From classical Ottoman literature to contemporary Turkish fiction, the program offers a comprehensive study of Turkish literary works and their cultural significance. Through coursework, seminars, and independent research projects, students gain a deeper appreciation for the complexities of Turkish literature, becoming insightful scholars and critics.
