Chess Club Goal:

To promote the game of chess and foster a community of enthusiastic chess players at our university.

Vision:

Our vision is to establish the faculty chess club as the premier destination for chess enthusiasts, known for its strong community, exceptional player development programs and innovative approach to promoting chess as a sport and intellectual pursuit. We envision a vibrant and inclusive community where members of all skill levels can come together to learn, play, and grow, fostering a love for the game that extends beyond the club's borders.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide a dynamic and supportive environment that encourages faculty members to explore and develop their passion for chess. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, we aim to cultivate a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and lifelong learning. We are committed to offering high-quality chess education, training, and competitive opportunities that cater to the diverse interests and skill levels of our members.

To achieve our mission, we will:

Organize regular chess tournaments, both internally and externally, to provide members with opportunities to test their skills and gain valuable competitive experience.

Offer a weekly training program led our members, designed to help members improve their chess skills and achieve their full potential.

Host workshops, lectures, and other educational events to deepen members' understanding of chess strategy, history, and theory.

Foster a sense of community and through social events, team-building activities, and collaborative projects that bring members together outside of the chessboard.

Opcoming plans:

This year, we plan to continue our weekly chess lessons and practice sessions. Additionally, we are planning to organize a chess tournament at the faculty level, where students can showcase their skills and compete for prizes.
